Engraving machine and engraving machine, engraving and milling machine, processing center (computer gong) are very similar in appearance and structure. Here is a comparative analysis of the four:

Engraving machine: Its spindle speed is high for small tool processing, torque is relatively small, focusing on the "engraving" function, such as wood (specially processed wood called wood engraving machine), dichroic board, acrylic board and other plates with low hardness, not suitable for strong cutting of large workpieces. At present, most of the products on the market under the banner of engraving machine are mainly for processing crafts, low cost, low precision, not suitable for die development; but there are exceptions such as chip engraving machine.
Carving Machine: As the name implies. It can engrave or milling accurately. On the basis of the engraving machine, the power of the spindle and servo motor is increased, and the bearing capacity of the bed is maintained. Engraving and milling machine: engraving and milling machine focus on engraving and milling, is between the fine engraving machine and the processing center of the transition model. Compared with the fine carving machine, the advantages of the machine are stronger steel, higher processing efficiency, high power, suitable for fast and heavy cutting of soft metals. Compared with the machining center, the advantages are that the processing speed of soft metals such as copper and aluminum is faster, and the finishing speed efficiency of steel die is higher. Its disadvantage is not suitable for large workpiece rough cutting and heavy cutting. The engraving and milling machine is also developing towards high speed. It is generally called high speed machine. It has stronger cutting ability and high processing precision. It can also directly process materials with hardness above HRC60 and form at one time.
From the aspect of appearance and volume:
Machining center has the largest volume, the large 1690 type machine is 4 m*3 m, and the small 850 type machine is 2.5 m*2.5 m, followed by the fine engraving machine, the larger 750 type machine is 2.2 m*2 m, and the carving machine is the smallest.
In terms of mechanical structure:
Machining centers generally use cantilever type, precision engraving machine and engraving machine generally use gantry type structure, gantry type is divided into pillar type and fixed beam type, at present, the majority of precision engraving machines are fixed beam type.

From the application object: Machining center is used to complete the processing equipment of workpiece with large milling quantity, large mould and material with comparative hardness, which is also suitable for the roughening of common mould; Carving machine is used to finish the finishing of small milling quantity and small mould, which is suitable for the processing of copper and graphite; Low-end carving machine is inclined to the processing of copper and graphite. Wood, dichroic board, acrylic board and other low hardness plate processing, high-end suitable for wafer, metal shell polishing and grinding.
Selection: Machining centers and precision engraving machines can be used for both products and moulds, while engraving machines can only be used for products.
